Our son Kyle Is a super loving, funny seven year old boy whos greatest fun is playing with his friends and playing anything Star Wars. Then out of the blue he was not feeling well and his abdomen was getting bigger. After three days of the new school year Kyle was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. He was taken immediatly to St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield, WI. There he endured six rounds of chemotherapy and surgery to remove his left adrenal gland where the cancer originated. Now he is in Minnesota at the University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital to have a risky stem cell transplant. He and his mom will be spending 2 to 3 months there waiting for him to recover as well as have radiation therapy. We are so very proud of our son, he has been brave and handled this with great dignity as well as laughter(which is the best medicine). When Kyle is finished with his treatments he will be granted a wish by the Make a Wish Foundation. He and his family will be going to Disney World to see the Star Wars weekend special event.
